Anachronism: a thing belonging or appropriate to a period other than that in which it exists, especially a thing that is conspicuously old-fashioned.
We’re all about taking new stuff we like and old stuff we like, then mashing it together with adapters. We make couplers for magazines, stripper clip adapters, bayonet lugs, and more to come. 3D printing has been the crucial aspect for making this happen. 3D Printing allows us to use geometries that would be impossible or difficult to make by other methods and in low, made to order quantities.
To a large extent, we have been focused around the Mini-14 and Mini-30. This platform has somewhat been left out in terms of aftermarket parts. It nicely bridges the gap between the 1930’s technology Garands and the modern small caliber, high capacity, optics ready carbines of today.
Making parts to order ensures we keep the cost low across a large selection of products. That way we don’t make the customer pay a mark up for our mistake of ordering too many of something and it never gets sold. We typically can get parts turned around in about 3-4 weeks.
