Description
We took a more conservative approach to extending the paddle magazine release for the Mini-14 and Mini-30 family of rifles. Many companies are going to the extreme and making release levers that extend far below and while they may be easy to grab, they are too easy to bump and snag on gear, brush, clothing, or anything else. This mag release is a happy medium between the Ruger barely long enough and the comically long aftermarket alternatives.
Parts ship with and included 1/8″ diameter slave pin to aid in installation.
This part is made to order using 3D metal printing process and has an approximate 4 week lead time.
We designed these parts to work best with Ruger brand magazines. Other magazine brands seem to work(including the fabled “OE strait 20 round mags”), but there may be some that don’t. We cannot feasibly verify every aftermarket magazine.
